Day 1: Arrival -Berastagi

Arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, get picked up for transfer to Brastagi via Sembahe and Sibolangit. After arrival in Brastagi visit Lumbhini Park with its duplicate of Shwedagon temples, and later, enjoy a visit to the fruit market. In the afternoon, check in to your hotel.

Day 2: Berastagi – Parapat – Samosir

After breakfast, we will drive to Parapat via Simarjarunjung, on the way visit Batak Karo traditional village at Dokan, stop at Sipiso-piso Waterfall and visit Rumah Bolon (Long House) which is known as the old Palace of the Batak Simalungun Kings. Arriving at Parapat we will cross the ocean to Samosir Island by ferry boat, for checking in at your hotel.

Day 3 :Samosir - Excursion

After breakfast, it is time to explore the Samosir Island. By car, you will visit several Batak Toba traditional villages.On this trip it is also possible to make a stop at a school – to get an insight of the activities of young children in their study-environment. If time allows we will also visit a village where the locals make their traditional hand weaving + a stop at another scenic place like the graves! In the afternoon, return to your hotel.

Day 4: Samosir - Sipirok

After breakfast cross the ocean, by ferry-boat, back to Parapat and then drive to Sipirok. On the way to Sipirok we will stop at a coffee, clove, and pineapple plantation, visit a traditional village at Balige, and once we reach Sipoholon you can check out its Hot springs. Take a stroll by the bank of the Sarulla river, and near-by you can get a nice view of some rice terraces located there. Once arriving at Sipirok check in to your Hotel. Overnight in Sipirok.

Day 5:Sipirok – Bukittinggi

After early breakfast leave Sipirok for transfer to Bukittinggi. On the way, we make a stop at Sihepeng to see the attraction of monkey picking coconut, pepper, vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon from a garden. Then we will pass the tropical rainforest of Rimba Panti. In the very centre of earth, we will cross the line of the equator in Bonjol. Afternoon arrival in Bukittinggi – the charming town of Minangkabau people. Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Bukittinggi.

Day 6: Bukittinggi – Minangkabau Tour

After breakfast, begin a Bukittinggi city tour, visit Sianok Canyon with its Japanese tunnel, de kock museum, the Big Tower O’clock “Jam Gadang” museum and market. Then drive to Batusangkar via Tabek Patah and, on the way, we stop at Baso, to study some of Baso’s traditional weaving techniques. Then you will continue to Batu Sangkar where we visit the Duplicate of the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom at Pagaruyung. In the afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Lake Singkarak.

Day 7: Bukittinggi – Maninjau Tour - Bukittinggi

After breakfast, drive to the Maninjau Lake via the fantastic, serpentine road of “Kelok 44”. On the way visit Koto Gadang village for a chance to watch the local’s work in their traditional way of Silver crafting, then, continue to Embun Pagi to see the view of the Lake there. Arrive in Maninjau and enjoy the nature of Lake Maninjau and the panorama view, there is time for a walk to the village or to the beach. In the afternoon, return to Bukittinggi.

Day 8: Bukittinggi – Padang Airport

After breakfast, drive to Padang. On the way we stopped at the Anai Valley waterfall. Once arriving in Padang, direct transfer to Airport for departure to your next destination.
