Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh
Marhaba and Welcome to Morocco!
Arrive at the fabulous city of Marrakech, meet your English-speaking guide, and transfer to your hotel where your guide will assist you at the check-in, then you’ll have an opportunity to fulfil and relax, and get ready for an amazing journey in Morocco. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the famous Rick’s Café local restaurant with your tour guide and group. Spend your first two nights in Marrakesh.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will start the tour of the Majorelle garden, Yves Saint Laurent & La Menara Gardens – a park of about 100 hectares, full of the most varied tree species, in the center of which stands a huge water reservoir – a hydraulic system designed to collect water from the thaw of the Atlas. Already in the days of the Almohad dynasty (12th century), the gardens were destined for the romantic meetings of the sultans of Marrakech. We will also visit the Bahia Palace, one of the masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. In the afternoon, you’ll eat like a local, learn fascinating stories, and deepen your knowledge of Moroccan cultural traditions. Your belly will be filled with joy, and your senses will be delighted. By the end of the afternoon, transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Marrakesh - Ouarzazate
Today you begin your long journey towards the Sahara Desert. Traveling across the Atlas Mountains on the highest road pass in the country; you’ll enjoy panoramic views of deep valleys and soaring peaks set against a deep blue African sky. You’ll stop en-route at the historic village of Telouet to explore its rust-red kasbah, as well as the stunning Ounila Valley where you can have lunch at your own account. You’ll arrive at Ait Ben Haddou in the beautiful light of late afternoon. The well-preserved kasbah here is most famous for its appearance in the ‘Gladiator’ film. As the red hues begin to deepen with the changing light, climb to the granary for uninterrupted views of the Atlas Mountains and palm oasis. Then transfer to your riad for check-in, dinner and, overnight.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Merzouga / Erg Chebbi Desert
You’ll be covering a big distance again today, but not without some incredible stops.
First up: the immense green oasis of Skoura, where you’ll pause for mint tea and to meet the local women, watching as they show you how to bake bread in traditional clay ovens. From Skoura it’s onwards to Todra Gorge, where you can have lunch at the Todra Valley (at your own account) surrounded by towering rock walls. Back in the car after lunch, the immense dunes of Merzouga will soon rise up before you. You will find your Sahara Vehicles 4X4 waiting for you at the foot of these giant red dunes to transfer you to your Camp eventually appearing like a mirage on the horizon. Saddle up and move off into the vast nothingness of the Sahara using a train of camels to assist the magnificent sunset. Once at your camp, savour your dinner all-around the traditional music, fire camp, and the infinite stars in the desert sky !!

Day 5: Erg Chebi - Ouarzazate /Agdz
Enjoy breakfast at your camp before driving to Erfoud. Drop off the 4X4 vehicles, and continue the road to Agdz. Today’s journey will take you westwards through a vast wilderness, punctuated by bright oases and remote villages. This is a lonely road that few tourists travel, so enjoy the uninterrupted views of untouched Morocco. By mid-afternoon, you’ll descend into the fertile Draa Valley, otherwise known as the ‘date basket’ of Morocco, where 200km of palm groves follow the life-giving Draa River.
You’ll be staying in Agdz in a boutique guest house at the heart of the palm grove. Hidden behind a small door in a mudbrick wall, you’ll find a beautiful pool surrounded by day beds, palm trees, and the property’s traditional architecture. Arrival, and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Marrakesh
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Marrakech. After a road of almost 5 hours with fabulous views and photo stops. Arrive at the Red city, and free time at leisure to buy souvenirs. Indulge in a memorable farewell dinner at Ksar Lhamra, a local restaurant, savouring the finest flavours of Moroccan cuisine. Experience the warm hospitality and culinary delights that showcase the essence of Morocco. In the end of the afternoon, transfer to the hotel for your check-in.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakesh
Today marks the end of your magical Morocco vacation. Continue your journey taking home a big smile and a lifetime of memories! You will be transferred back to the airport to board your flight.
