Day 1: Arrival to Kampala (Entebbe International Airport)
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you’ll be greeted by a knowledgeable guide who will assist with your transfer to your hotel in Kampala for check-in.
After breakfast, embark on a captivating city exploration in Kampala. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this city nestled upon seven picturesque hills. Wander through its ancient local markets, savour the flavours of local delicacies, and soak in the vibrant energy of some of the world’s warmest and most welcoming people.
After indulging in a satisfying local lunch, delve into the historical treasures of Buganda. Explore the royal palace, discover the art of crafting traditional backcloths, and pay a visit to the iconic Kasubi Tombs. As the day unfolds, enjoy a welcome dinner before returning to your hotel in the evening for a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast at 7 a.m., embark on a scenic drive (app. 4h) to reach the enchanting Lake Mburo National Park. The park area has thirteen lakes and five of then lie within the park’s borders. We will have a mid-morning break along the way and enjoy lunch at 1 p.m.
Prepare for an exhilarating adventure in a habitat teeming with diverse wildlife, including three hundred fifty bird species, buffalos, impalas, zebras, leopards, hippos, oribis, and more. The safari experience is so remarkable that you’ll find yourself utterly captivated. After a thrilling game drive (2-3h), make your way to the lodge for a delectable dinner and evening rest.

Start your day at 7 a.m. and embark on a scenic 6-hour journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Southwestern Uganda, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After arriving at your lodge around midday, take some rest before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the culture of the Batwa people with a community visit. Learn about their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, create some art pieces, and gain a unique perspective on Uganda’s local tribe’s custom. Wrap up the day with a delicious dinner back at the lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi
Begin your day with breakfast at 7 a.m., then head to the Bwindi Forest Park headquarters for a briefing from the head ranger before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can take anywhere from two to six hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location.
Bwindi’s rugged terrain, known as the ‘impenetrable forest,’ presents a challenging yet rewarding hike. You’ll have the chance to encounter half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, along with other endemic species like monkeys, chimps, birds, and butterflies.
Witness these endangered gorillas up close as they go about their daily activities in their natural habitat. Spending time with our close relatives in the wild is a once-a-lifetime experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, and then enjoy some relaxation and downtime.

Day 6: Bwindi - Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast, depart at 7 a.m. for Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic four to five-hour journey to Uganda’s second-largest national park. With 615 bird species, it’s a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to the ‘Big Four’ African wildlife. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then enjoy a thrilling boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and more. Later, venture out for an evening game drive to admire the ‘Big Four’ and other animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth - Rubarika
After breakfast at 8 am drive to Rubarika (app. 4h) and arrive in time for an African cuisine experience prepared by community members specialized in the local food of Toro Kingdom. After lunch head to a local farm. Learn about the vanilla plantation process and participate in hand milking of the domestic animals. After that, take part in tree planting projects, that ensure a sustained ecological system. Enjoy the rest of the evening at the lodge.

Day 8: Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Kibale National Park (1h) home of the highest population of chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The forest also harbours a diverse number of primates and wildlife species which gives a perfect mix of luxury and adventure. Take a guided walk through the woods, and watch the birds in trees as you hear chimps communicate with others. Get close and personal to them as you explore the wild side of the Kibale forest. Head back to the lodge for lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon with a guided community walk.

Day 9: Kibale National Park - Murchison Falls National Park
This morning, head to Murchison for an approximately 6-hour drive and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Have an afternoon at leisure then head for an evening game drive, and experience the majesty of the animal kingdom in one of the biggest game parks in the country with the World’s strongest falls. The game drive takes two to three hours and features four of the big five. These include lions, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, warthogs, and many bird species. Head back to the lodge and enjoy dinner.

Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning, have a packed breakfast to embark on a safari as you explore animals heading out for breakfast. This is the optimal time to witness a wide variety of wildlife, surpassing what you might see during an evening game drive. Take a midmorning break and head back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a captivating three-hour boat tour along the Nile, where you can encounter hippos, crocodiles, a multitude of birds, and frequent visitors like waterbucks, buffalos, and elephants. After the cruise, return to the lodge for evening relaxation and a delightful dinner.

Day 11: Murchison Falls National Park - Jinja
After breakfast at 8 a.m., head to the top of Murchison Falls and experience one of Uganda’s natural wonders. The top of the falls is a top tier of Uganda’s wildlife and unforgettable experiences because of its tumultuous sounds and unforgettable rainbow views. After an hour, continue with your journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a walking safari to encounter the last of the big five that you have not seen in your safari adventure thus far. The sanctuary is home to the only wild white rhinos in Uganda. The tracking of these magnificent creatures takes about one to two hours depending on the time available. Proceed to your lodge in Jinja (app. 4h drive) for an evening at leisure.

After an 8 a.m. breakfast, head to Jinja for a boat tour at the Nile’s source, where you can capture photos, learn about its history, and engage with locals. Explore downtown Jinja for crafts, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, and then go on an exciting quad biking safari at Bujagali, taking you through villages, farms, and waterfalls. After your quad biking safari, you can choose some additional activities, like tubing the Nile, bungee jumping (Kissing the Nile), water biking, etc., or return to the hotel for a leisurely evening.

Day 14: Jinja - Kampala Departure
After breakfast, drive to Kampala (app. 2h30) and make a last stop at one of the craft markets for shopping. Then proceed to Entebbe International Airport, for your flight back home.
